Referees
Officiating is a great way for kids and parents to earn some money, be involved in the beautiful game, and make a vital contribution to the success of youth soccer. We’re always looking for referees, and SAYSA offers financial bonuses for those who get certified and meet a minimum games requirement for our club.
Referees are protected! The Madison Area Youth Soccer Association (MAYSA) maintains a zero tolerance policy for referee abuse. The organization also abides by U.S. Soccer's strict referee abuse prevention policies.

Financial Bonus for Referee (2026-27 Season)
SAYSA will offer a $70 bonus to SAYSA referees who officiate 7 or more SAYSA home games at any age level within the timeframe of a single fall or spring season (following the submission of verification). Questions about receiving the bonus can be submitted to our general email address.
This bonus is separate from any that may be offered by MAYSA and/or WYSA.
